Welcoming Kaiser Permanente from California as a Sponsor of the Center’s 8th Global Business Forum in Paris

Five years ago, Kaiser Permanente hosted our 3rd Forum in Washington D.C. at its Center for Total Health. This year we are proud to welcome back Kaiser Permanente Medical Group as a sponsor of the Center’s 8th Business Forum “Money and people – the currencies of healthcare to be held on September 11-13, 2019 at the Columbia University Global Center in Paris.

Stephen Parodi and his team will come to join us all the way from California as he was excited about our 7th Business Forum in Paris: “The exchange was fantastic, and I learned a great deal in just 2.5 days. What I found most useful is hearing the international perspectives and how to improve patient care and how to really move technology and systems all for the betterment of the people we serve.” Thank you, Steve!

Kaiser Permanente will provide insights into how they are using human centered design in an integrated system. This implies changing people’s roles and responsibilities, carefully managing the human-technology interface, continuously incorporating feedback from teams, changing beliefs among healthcare professionals while leaving room for clinical judgment in professional routines, and finding a common language to facilitate communication in the loop of redesign. We will jointly work on specific cases how to engage people on a continuous basis and thereby design an innovative system for the future which can be used as a role model for redesign in other systems or countries.

Further agenda themes are now online.

The Forum – now in its 8th year – has been conceived to help the world’s top healthcare executives seize the moment. Previous participants rave about the interactive, content-rich and personal experience: https://goo.gl/t3f4H7
