On November 29th and 30th, 2012 internationally renowned experts from academia and practice
(Columbia University, Berkeley University, Kaiser Permanente etc.) discussed the design of sustainable healthcare systems.

The following topics were offered as roundtable discussions:

  • The nuts & bolts of integrated care delivery (“Integration”)
  • International healthcare policy & beyond (“Policy”)
  • Truths and myths about incentives & performance (“Incentives”)
  • Business strategy & healthcare systems (“Strategy”)
  • Management of healthcare organizations & change (“Implementation”)

The interactive approach of the discussion roundtables gave participants the opportunity to raise own issues and contribute their perspectives in order to develop an interdisciplinary approach which is confidential and free of particular interests.

Each roundtable was hosted by two to three experts. Over the course of the day attendees had the opportunity to participate in two different table discussions.
